Seed of Spring
The Seed of Spring, as some have called it, was planted in a barren wasteland between the Giantshield and Wyrmsmoke Mountains. The area soon thrived as lush forests and native vegetables began to grow in the enriched soil of this land. Settlers called it the Elsir Vale. Harfoot Crimelore | Lich used Frühling in a ritual to create his phylactery and he became the Ghostlord, a druidic lich. The Seed of Spring continued to nourish the vale, but a part of it was forever tainted. When the Heroes of Brindol killed the Ghostlord, his phylactery activated and the Seed of Spring's growth magic, corrupted by necromancy, rose animals and people from the grave. The Greenwood turned into the Witchwood. The Heroes of Brindol planned to use the Seed of Winter to diminish the power of the Seed of Spring so that they could cleanse the necrotic curse from it, but never got the chance. The Heroes perished while using the Seed of Winter to treat with Cachlain | Fomorian King.
