Aearee

Aearee were a Race native to The Old World which became extinct late in the Age of Building. They were vaguely humanoid in appearance, but possessed avian wings in place of arms, beaked bird-like heads, and thick plumage covering their entire bodies. It is thought they were destroyed in war with early Humans, Dwarves, and Elves, all of which expanded their range rapidly around the time the Aearee disappeared from the historical record. They have no known descendants in the Modern Era.

On 9/5/213, Djinn, Günther, Helena, Myth, Petra and Ranaghar discovered carvings in a Ruin northeast of Gatefall depicting Aearee, along with Ostor and Quessir, offering sacrifices to Dragons. While this is strong evidence that the Aearee had a presence in The New World at one time, it is unknown whether they or their descendants still exist there.
