Ostor

Ostor were a Race native to The Old World which became extinct early in the Age of Building. They were generally humanoid, but were covered in coarse hair and possessed blunt ape-like features. They are believed to be the ancestors of Humans, Dwarves, Halflings, and Orcs and likely became extinct through interbreeding with these more developed Races.

On 9/5/213, Djinn, Günther, Helena, Myth, Petra and Ranaghar discovered carvings in a Ruin northeast of Gatefall depicting Ostor, along with Aearee and Quessir, offering sacrifices to Dragons. While this is strong evidence that the Ostor had a presence in The New World at one time, it is unknown whether they or their descendants still exist there.
