Magewrights

Magewrights, also called working class wizards, maintain everyday magical devices that make up Solaris' infrastructure. They’re as prevalent as stonemasons and even more prevalent than armorsmiths. At night, they refill the everlit lanterns that illuminate the city, they clear the magical smog created from excessive use of spell components and cast prestidigitation over and over to clean the streets as much as possible. During the day, they visit the homes of citizens that require sewage elimination and food preservation services. They can even be seen Mending various items such as broken chairs, tables, carts and carriages.

Magewrights are also trained in first aid, and their headquarters serves as Solaris' center for health care. The elven clerics that work here are by no means as powerful as The Order of the Gauntlet , but they do what they can.

The Magewrights are a public service provided by the council, but most notably Tusaldur Larethorin has been a big proponent for better paying wages.
