Modred the Mystic
Modred son of Icel (a.k.a. Modred the Mystic)
Modred was Sorceror Supreme in the 6th century.
He is best remembered for his defeat of the Elder God Chthon, and his study of the Darkhold. He was a pioneer of European elemental magic, especially aerokinetic magic. He was one of the Heirs of Merlin, tasked with protecting the Nexus of All Realities, and according to legend he was trained by Merlin himself.
During the invasion of the Empirikul, Modred was one of the past Sorcerors Supreme gathered by Stephen Strange and the Demiurge using the power of the Eye of Agamatto.
Along with Kushala, Master Yao, and Ire of the Crua before the Ice, he defeated the Imperator, before being returned to his own time.
He was the son of Icel, the first king of Mercia, and brother of Icel's successor Cnebba.
