Jasteli cloud rainforests cover the majority of the large mountainous country to the south of Meraqia, with wide tropical floodplains surrounding the many rivers that flow into the Iasrum basin. Jastel is one of the largest countries in Meraqia with a diverse geography and high mountains formed by the convergence of several ancient tectonic plates. Known for its brilliant educational institutions, incredible medical technology and its vibrant culture and fashion, Jastel is a powerful force in politics on the Meraqian continent.
