Fortuna

Fortuna, is a primordial and goddess of luck, fate and fortune. She is remembered as the friendly, graceful, and kind deity of good fortune, owes her impressive popularity to two factors. Firstly, her dominance over narrow escapes and lucky discoveries makes her the patron of choice to Theras’s burgeoning adventurer population, who propitiate her in hopes of prolonged survival and spectacular takes.   On the Year 0 AB, the soon to be Sovereign Imperator of the new Bafigron Empire, who was told to have had made a pact with the deities Nyx, Vhaeraun and Selvetarm, as those three deities sought to destroy Lady Luck for it was the greatest power beyond many things in the world of Theras.   The Evil Sovereign Imperator of Bafigron, Bolumus, then ascended gathered the Words of Destruction artifact and used the essence of the goddess Fortuna, that once unbeknown to her, the three gods hid their essence in the three fragments and spawned just as the goddess fortuna used her divine essence to reforge the Words of Destruction. A battle ensued in the realm of Fortuna and even though she managed to repel the attacks with the aid of Lune, Baisha, came and delivered the killing blow, only to be driven mad for about 100 years until her sanity was lifted by the goddess Avandra, The goddes of trade, which happened took the portfolio of luck.   During the time of her death, many horrendous events occured in the world, such as The Second Sun as threads of Fate are no longer monitored and are fluxing out of control.   It should be noted that until 921 AB, no one had Supremecy over the Portfolio of Fate, which was claimed by the The Raven Queen.
