The Bayjanese Crusade

The The Ranas of Bayjan, who were at the time, led by the great Balaka, who was considered to be the first among the Ranas.   The court, had decided to weave their fates themselves. They had stolen the last fragment of faith from a highly guarded Bafigronian sanctum.   Therefore, the Arasilisch had come to rebel, taking out fleets and going from Abaisgar and from the Sil-Taj Strait via transports on masse to Bayjan, starting war that would have lasted for half a century.

The Silver Chalice had engaged the Ranas with Dragons, which gave them the edge on both the Ranas and the Old Ansko Empire.

A Plague, concocted by Balaka, had affected the dragons of Arasil, which made sick, forever damaging Protecting Wings of Arasil. This plague, disabled all dragons and thus the Arasilian Grand Military Orders, had begun shifting and diversifying its forces with Hippogriphs and Pegasuses (Forever incorporating them).   This plague also affected the Dragonborn forces in Bayjan and killed them, unlike the dragons who were driven to sleep-like state, which caused the Dragonborn to take careful stance within this war, not realising it were the Rakshasas of Bayjan that caused it.   The Plague was countered in the end of the War, when Healers took the blood of Balaka upon his capture and healing the dragons, but the damage was too great.   Discovered bv 1,051 AB and made the connection then, after the Kadian Invasion of Rakion, the Scholars had discovered that Balaka had used the same knowledge of the Plague of Dychrynporos and changed its potency to dragons.

In a daring raid, that cost the Arasilisch most of their troops, they had been able to decimate the forces of the Ranas with the aid of Ervenius and Ailéno which had come to the aids with both themselves and the mighty forces of Heiligstes König Reich Celtira, forever building an alliance between the Arasil and Celtira.   The capture of Balaka enabled the Ranas to retreat, while becoming seperated, the Armies swept across Bayjan and finishing the crusade within 2 years since the capture of Balaka and the death of 2 Ranas.   In the end, the Crusaders had left.

Since then, the Kingdom of Arasil has a foothold on the islands, controling both sides of the Sil-Taj Strait.

The war, far from Araso-Lond, had made difficult financing the crusades and The Silver Chalice and they had to transport large sums of coins and Astilabor clerics had began empowering the banks and created the Araso Commerical Banks.

There were many Ranas that started vying for power, since 2 Ranas had been forever destroyed and 1 one of them captrued and hidden from sight and the court was forever changed since then.

There can be found many Arasilisch ruins in Bayjan since then.
