Arqmati Pantheon

The Arqmati Pantheon was a splinter from the pantheon of the Menedynn Pantheon, that emerged around 100 BB and was growing mostly in the Western-Southern lands of Rakion. The pantheon consisted of the gods worshiped mostly by the Human culture known as the nomadic and tribes of the South.   The pantheon is considered to be led by two: Nyx and Lune take the role of the night and guidance or sometimes loss as primary in the beliefs of the Arqmatis.   Nyx is most recognized in Bayjan, while Lune is most recognized in League of Balikhan and The Sultans of Buqmat.   It should be noted that The Arqmati pantheon is charectized by the Wahhabiyya and Mutakallimûn, both holding a different view of deities that are not part of the Arqmati and view them as those who are not commited to The Eternal Truth as detailed in the Book of Precepts of the prophet Arqmat.   Unlike other pantheon, believers of the Eternal Truth, believe that all deities should live in a balance, having temples of all gods, including those of evil in public places as they maintain a certian truth. While most people in Rakion, worship many gods and take one god as their prominent faith, the Arqmati, believe in all of those beings together and encourage other to do certain acts to please all the pantheon.   It must emphasized that the faith is not without internal conflict. The Eternal Truth can be intolerant towards non-believers, unlike the Mutakallimûn who accept other faiths and interacts with them. The Wahhabiyya faction, concentrated in Southern Aradi-Al-Nar, advocates for stricter isolationism, opposing foreign trade and clashing with the Mutakallimûn who favor modernization and engagement. Further fueling this discord, the Wahhabiyya hampions the blood heirs of Arqmat for the throne, challenging the legitimacy of the adopted successors chosen by the Council.

History

The Arqmati pantheon was the a splinter from the Menedynn Pantheon. This Pantheon entered into the Bayjan region and the Southern lands of Rakion. This Pantheon was officaily friendly tro people who are not farmers by trade, but take their chances and luck. This pantheon didn't support the direct war of the Narsilians and the Menedynnians and sought only peace between those two mannish races.   Since the The Kariondorian Vigil Begins, the Arqmati faithful are the most zealous of the vigil, often going to great lengths in order to exact justice (or cause suffering) upon the Andorian Church.

Tenets of Faith

Unlike all pantheons, it is very customary and one of the ordinary that clerics, priests, paladin, ect... change their faith. Once every 10 years, many of the holy men of the various faiths of the pantheon are obligated or sometimes initiate it themselves this custom of going before the most high ranking of faith within the pantheon and changing their faith.   This custom is called the Proclamation of the Eternal Truth.
