Alayna was born into an ancient and wealthy royal family that once ruled all of Imesse. She married Turl am Nari just a few months after he was elevated to Duke, and soon became pregnant. The pregnancy was difficult, and complications arose during the birth that caused much pain and suffering and resulted in her death as her son was brought into the world.

She was quite devoted to her Duke for the brief time they were married. Their relationship was more than simply an arranged marriage between to powerful families.
Representation & Legacy
The Duke had a 8,000 lbs block of the purest white marble brought from a quarry in Aria and carved into a grand tomb for his wife. The tomb is stunningly beautiful with intricate carvings depicting her life and her reward in Heaven with the gods. It is prominently located in the Grand Temple at the City of Hekmo. Candles and incense burn perpetually in memory of her life upon and around the tomb.

In her youth, Alayna was very close to Tanny Nari and Werthina Loke, so much so that they were seen as inseperable in nearly everything they did. Both Tanny and Werthina suffered greatly from Alayna's tragic death, as did their friendship.
