Crossings Castle

Crossings Castle is a newly completed castle located on north bank of the Teeth River in the southern portion of the Duchy of Grenwich.  Commissioned by Duke Dogar Lann as a means to regulate and tax trade between the duchy and the County of Aramor and to protect the region from a possible invasion, the castle is the newest and finest example of modern fortifications in the entire duchy.  Tall curtain walls, huge round towers and a massive central keep all built of finely finished gray limestone and roofed in red tile.
The Castle is the home of the Briar of High Bridge, Piers Older.

Purpose / Function

Newly constructed to defend the river crossing at the Town of High Bridge.  Also houses and equips a Regiment of Lancers and several Companies of Foot that are garrisoned there for the defense of the region.

Architecture

Constructed of local gray limestone and fine red tiles, the Castle offes a stunning scene located on the higih bluffs of the Teeth River.
