His Holiness Guy Bourbon
Guy Bourbon is the Commander of the Order of the Swords of Heaven's regional chapterhouse in the County of Killmor, the Commandery Desut. He is a 38-year-old Human that has been a Knight of the Order for more than 20 years. As a Commander of the Order, he has the equivalent rank within the Pantheon of Heaven hierarchy as an Ecclesiast and is titled "His Holiness" when conducting official business.
Guy is a faithful and dedicated member of the Order's hierarchy, and he is true believer in the faith of the Pantheon of Heaven. He is also particularly dedicated to actively participating in the ongoing crusade against all Black Dragons. In the first months after taking his vows as a Knight of the Order at the tender age of 18 years, Guy was faced with eliminating a full-grown Black Dragon from the swampy headwaters of the Eau del'Est River, and the extreme southern extent of the Nordarak Mountains and the edge of Arian territory. As he was travelling alone, and the dragon recognized him as a member of the Order, the dragon was utterly committed to hunting and killing the young knight.
After an hour-long chase through the marshy wilderness, the dragon cornered Guy in a small stand of scrub pines. Guy's speed, athleticism and skill with a longsword won out over the dragon's rabid hatred of all things related to the Pantheon of Heaven faith, and Guy slew the dragon by driving his sword into the beast's eye as it lunged to bite him in half and breaking the blade off in its skull.

Special abilities
Guy is considered one of the most experienced dragon hunters in the entire Order, and he is the only Knight of the Order to ever have faced and defeated a mature Black Dragon single handedly. He has been called upon by the Grand Master of the Order, Jack Demolay, to advise and assist in the hunting of three other particuarly large and deadly Black Dragons that have plagued the Order since his elevation to Commander.
Specialized Equipment
Guy wears armor crafted from the scales of a Black Dragon that he killed the year he first took his vows as a Knight of the Order. His pauldrons, vambraces and greaves are all made of the steel-hard armor harvested from that viscious beast. His personal sword is also crafted from portions of the Black Dragon. The sword is a heavy longsword, with the hilt, handle and pommel all crafted from dragon bone and dragon claws which give the weapon a very distinctive look.
