History

Founded in the year 11,242 BE, Black Harbor emerged as a coastal gem, strategically positioned to thrive as a hub for maritime trade and commerce. Its inception was marked by the ambitious vision of enterprising leaders seeking to establish a bustling port town. The Esteemed Black family first settled this land with their staff and quickly built an alliance with Lord Verel Vallis, a shrewd merchant and trader, who played a pivotal role in the city's early economic development, laying the foundations for the Vallis Trading Company in the Vallis Trade Quarters.
Lady Lyria Vallis, married to Lord Kasper Vallis(The current ruler of Black Harbor), added her touch of refinement to Black Harbor, creating the elegant Rosewood Residences and cultivating the exquisite Black Rose Gardens. Over the years, the city's economic prowess expanded with notable establishments like The Mithril Mantle in Mithril Square and the renowned seafood eatery "Oh my Cod" in Fisherman's Wharf.
