Kylon Strongtusk

Kylon Strongtusk is a Loxodon Monk. Originally hailing from Dojhan, he has set out to travel the world, apply the teachings of his order, and gain life experiences. Together with Hobb Gunderson, Ignatius Stoatmoor, Kipap Shortlegs, Misi, and Thomas Bontemps, he has accepted the commission of the mysterious Façade to travel to Velnar to seek out a mysterious astronomical observatory.
There is a personal stake in this for Kylon as well. A member of his order, a fellow Loxodon named Taija Stonehand, disappeared into a similar area to where he'll be exploring several years ago. She got word to someone who cast a sending spell for her, but it didn't arrive until fairly recently. The message was, "Ancient City. Five serpents gaze upon it. The night serpent's gaze is on me. The source of the weeping god's tears. Send aid. Vast knowledge." He hopes to learn her fate, rescue her if possible, or, if not, at the least, gather her remains to her return to her family.
He is large, even for a Loxodon, and he dislikes fighting. He has a fascination with the smaller races of Tol, such as Gnomes, Halflings, and Kobolds. He also loves small animals of all kinds; he has the mummified remains of a pet mouse that he accidentally killed when he was a child, and he carries them with him to remind him that he must be careful of smaller people. In his downtime, he enjoys creating small, precise arts and crafts.
