Edenstone

Edenstone Kingdom is where Retter lives, King Ludwig's is the ruler but Queen Edelmar is in charge. It is sort of based of the holy roman empire. It is inspired by several Nordic/Scandinavian and Germanic countries, mostly Germany, Austria, and norway/sweden.

Culture

It is a mixed of Germanic and Nordic/Scandinavian with a little British and more. They believe that red eyes are Evil which is the reason why Retter was an outcast.

Public Agenda

Huge increase in taxes. Edelmar having complete control over the kingdom, Ludwig is nowhere to be seen. Increase demand in military, increase in orphanages.

Assets

Silver and gold, buildings, equipment, weapons, ships and horses, castles. Knights, there are the official Edenstone knights, which are the ones that fight in wars and the Lancelot Knight who do guarding. Some castles in the kingdom are the Lancelot Manor where the Lancelot family lives, Night field castle where Retter and his family lived, cold fortress where the Von Elden family lives. Dragonspire hold and Barkenburgh Palace. Common weapons are swords, knives.

History

in 768 CE, a king took control and united the nations for the next 50 years. In 814 CE the king died and many territories decided to become their own kingdom. The kingdoms were attacked by Vikings and destroyed towns. They were able to make peace by united the Kingdoms once again with Scandinavia, where the Vikings came from. The Von Elden Royal family, which came from Scandinavia, ruled over the kingdom for nearly a thousand years. In the mid 18th century, King Ludwig gave up his title as king and Retter became the new king of Edenstone, ending the Reign of the Von Elden family, who ruled 949 years.

Military

Edenstone Knights, which is mostly around the cold fortress and other government buildings nearby. The knights are the ones that usually fight in the wars. The Lancelot Knights. They're scattered around the kingdom but the base is in Reich Ablenken, as it is where the Lancelot Family lives. These Knights can be seen, mostly around Reich Ablenken, guarding government buildings and Palaces, Mansions, Manors, and more.

Technological Level

Some technologies that are widely available to the Citizens are the steam engine.

Religion

Catholics were most common in Edenstone. During Retter's era Christianity became more popular.

Foreign Relations

Edenstone and Aichilion were at war for years. They signed a peace treaty that involved Ludwig and Edelmar getting married to join the two kingdoms together. Years ago, there was an a territory called Volkerweil, where Elves lives. King Henrik then invaded the land, and made it a part off Edenstone by marrying an Elf. Amaron and Edenstone also had a small relation as the Empress consort is from there, and is also a daughter of Edelmar. Later, they got a bigger relations after Harmonia and Dieter got married.

Agriculture & Industry

While there is both agricultural and Industrial power, Agricultural power is used the most. Farming and growing crops

Trade & Transport

Horses and carriages are main from of transportation aside from walking and teleportation. As for trade, boats transported goods to and from kingdoms.

Education

Peasants usually do not receive a formal education or go to a school. Noble children go to the Royal Academy and get private tutoring while Royal children get private tutoring. Peasant children usually learned from adults, and experience. Not many people could read
