Bexbalt
Bexbalt is the trade district in Ofrary. This district is known for bustling trade, fresh imported goods, and exciting nightlife. Many of the small shops are ran 24 hours a day.
Many Ofrarians make their livelihood by selling product in the stalls and pop-up shops in Bexbalt. The atmosphere is constantly buzzing with the high energy - what it takes to make a few gold coins. One could find just about anything, domestic or exotic, in the winding maze of Bexbalt.
More importantly, this district holds the mighty Bexbalt Shipyard. This shipyard boasts the most ship traffic on the whole continent, with routes running entirely around the landmass. Experienced sailors rest their sealegs in the taverns here.
Notable locations:
Carpe Donut, a tiny shop with just enough seating for two people (or one Luxodon). Thier fried doughs and hot beverages draw daily crowds that wrap around on slow days.
Ore Store, a very old and well-known blacksmith that specializes in nautical metallurgy, among other things.
Shipyards - none in particular, but the area that has rows of large warehouses that line the docks is a popular place to catch fresh, off-the-boat deals. Though, some loiterers in this area have less than stellar intentions.
Living in Bexbalt
It is actually illegal to have a residential address in Bexbalt, as it is purely for business. However, this does not keep people from running their shops 24/7 while sneaking in a few "breaks" now and again.
Petty theft and scamming is common in this area, though the Governor has done thier best to mitigate this by stationing a high number of guards in this area. It is rumoured that Bexbalt's seedy underbelly may be aiding in illegal trading.
