Officially named The Recognized Emanations of the Holy Coronex Parhelion in Splendour, The Allesans is a minor kingdom comprising the steppes and badlands of Voidwest Gondara. Their demonym is Allesander and their family of languages is called Allesander, though Middish Common is also commonly spoken here.
The Emanations' capital city, Dalmatica, is widely considered the cultural capital of Gondara, and the secondmost populous city after Fauregand in the Corewestern Midlands. Having already been high elevation and spared the destruction of the Deluge, Dalmatica remains one of the deepest sources of historical knowledge on Waking Materia, lesser only than The Holy City of Calm in Jura, Maraxas Mons on Khayyam, the Petal Cities of Marai and The Ruskanseyrie in Valamon. Excepting the chaos of the Deluge and the resulting melees over territory after the Juran Empire's retraction, Dalmatica's walls have always been open to foreigners willing to help deepen the city-state's well of knowledge. Clothiers borrow ideas from ancient Nireauan and Pre-Khayyamite diagram-books to set new trends across Gondara. Artists study ancient Aikyo and Onidoshi compositions for their minstrelry.Geography

The Allesans is a monarchy lead by a Caesar or Caesaris, part of a holy line of families and blessed by a semi-independent church of Aios (who is the "Holy Coronex Parhelion" part of the nation's full title).Caesar Leovold III
The current leader is Caesar Leovold III of Galain. Caesar Levold was born Kahlon Satriogne Galain, taking the title Leovold III in honour of the pre-Juran Caesar of Dalmatica Leovold II, a cerebral ruler and composer of the famed Cantigas de Santa Ajora, which Kahlon grew up playing on his cittern.
The Galains were a minor banner under the Juran Empire, seneschals to the higher-strata Valfarés, but proved more cunning & ruthless than their competitors after the Empire’s sudden retreat from the Gondaran Continent, and the old Throne of Dalmatica was quickly reinstated by Kahlon’s grandfather Cid, who took the title of Caesar Orlando VII. Galain’s rule expanded for the next fifty years under Orlando VII, who expired of heart disease, then expanded a further seven years under Kahlon’s father, Leon I, before his assassination. Kahlon was the youngest of four children, however his intellect was so apparent that his layabout siblings were “bastardized” (given bastard names to invalidate their claim to the Throne) and Kahlon was hastily crowned.
Caesar Leovold is an inscrutable but capable ruler, representing the strength, grace and cunning of Allesanders well, but prone to long bouts of melancholy, disappearing into his musical study for sometimes weeks at a time.Allesanders
Allesanders are largely comprised of Meranthic, human-elven peoples with minority populations of eladrin, halflings and arakh. Skin shades range from deep browns to almost pure blacks. The recessant gene for "Eagle Eye" (where the iris colour is a bright gold-green mix) is most common here.
Like the Midlanders, Allesanders regard family with the utmost importance, and it's common for travelers and dignitaries to wear their banner's colours and crests whenever feasible. The fondness Allesanders have for art and fashion bleed into everything, from armour designs to architecture. Let it not be said, however, that the rural townships don't struggle; indeed for all their bookishness, the rulers of Dalmatica oversee a relatively high wealth gap.Religion
Worship of the Pantheon of the People is as common if not moreso in the Allesans than elsewhere, but they place a particular importance on the Starmother and Overbeing Aios as the god-matron of the kingdom. The Holy Coronex Parhelion is actually the throne on which the Cesar sits, which is said to have been Aios's warthrone in the primordial times when she was carving Waking Materia out of Pandæmonium, one dead eldritch monster at a time.
Worship of Saint Frances Heronseye is especially common here, partly because fresh water can be so sparse in their badlands, partly because Frances Sanjo di Telura was confirmably born in the village of Telura, on the far western shores of the Allesans.
