Cult of Quoros

The Cult of Quoros is a secret group of worshippers of Quoros, the ancient divine being and primary challenger to Mystra for the portfolio of arcane magic. After many encounters, the Party believes the cult is trying to resurrect Quoros, as they believe he was killed in the First War. Only recently did the Party learn that Quoros was instead banished to a corner of the Void, currently unable to return to the Material Plane.
The Party's encounters with the Cult of Quoros include:

• The secret chamber in the caves outside Redmund, where cultists were practicing the summoning of demons;
• The Ancient Death Temple of Myrkul, where cultists were practicing some sort of ritual that required humanoid sacrifice;
• The Ancient Morten Prison, where an early sect of the cult had been imprisoned and tortured for their beliefs and ultimately (accidentally) opened a rift into the Void; and
• Beneath Midnight Mountain, where the cult performed a ritual they believed would resurrect Quoros, an event that led to the deaths of Isa Ereskin and Virgil Halathar.

It remains unclear who "Q" is, how he's involved, or what he knows about Quoros' true fate.
