S:12 Tales From The Blazing Chariot Part 2

The stars brightened as the night continued to progress above the eccentric group that ran the fiery trireme, their dangerously fearless leader continuing her tale of the adventure they had just gone through. The crimson captain jumped back onto a crate, cleared her throat, and bellowed with enthusiasm as to what comes next from the audience, "So there we were! The battle finished with an odd mercy and from behind us came a VOICE!" Orri slowly turns to Zephyria with a stern and feigned look of frustration, "Yep a VOICE, crazy huh Zephy?" Turning back toward the crowd and Anaxa, "The mighty hoplite appeared and began to explain where she was. Zephy had us writing our conversations the entire time not letting us know that if we can breath water, we can talk! Our sweet witch thought it was very funny, and we are impressed the joke went on for so long." The deck of the ship went up in a cascade of laughter and a few of the Blazing Chariot crew slapped Zephyria on the back in congratulations, causing the poor small elf to nearly fly into the center of the "stage" next to Morrigan. The crew looked concerned and Zephyria waved them off just so they would move on, and Orri continued, "With Anaxa and I taking point we continued through the sunken hallway and came upon a massive marble door, that could only be opened with a phrase from a Wave Mother!"
 
Dame Deadshot and Francois who both were sat next to the Admiral leaned in toward the goblin, "Admiral, zo who told our fearless captain about the Undine religion?" Francois asked with confidence. Deadshot leaned in closer and waited for the answer as well, until the Admiral without looking at them and kept her eyes on Orri flamboyance, "Oh ye should have a bit more confidence in yur captain little ones. For Morrigan was the one to tell us about them." Dame Deadshot feigned surprise and acted as if she were about to fall out of her chair, whilst Francois looked upon Morrigan with a reserved surprised respect, as only someone from Crell Montefreign can manage. Orri's voice rose above their conversation once more, "Then Zephy mentioned a magical seal! My excitment grew at the prosp...proeco...idea of magical beast we may have to tangle with....then discovered she was simply talking about the door. Just imagine though a seal of massive girth and power wielding magic! What a wonderful fight that would be!" The Falenese canonsmith Shin "Flint" raised his tankard in support, "That sounds amazing, we will find one Captain! Don't you worry!" The crew of the Blazing Chariot all raised their drinks at their captain and took a big swig. Their captain followed suit with a massive smile on her face at her crew.
 
"We then came across a cave covered in rubble and a small space to get through, hoping for a fight on the other side I spun through the water and past these sharp spikes coming from all angles to REACH!" She pauses and then breathes out, "Just a bunch of treasure, some of it was really pretty. After that we found a really beautifully crafted set of armor made from dragon scales!" As she proclaims this Hephane suddenly lifts her head and starts to shake against Anaxa. The hoplite's eye twitches as she holds down Hephane's shoulders to calm her, "Yes Hephane, I know you can look at it later." Anaxa turns her attention back to Orri who had continued her summary, ".....more treasure blah blah, THEN poor Calliope gets impaled by some trap! My poor friend, I should have been in front of you to try and help you dodge!" The captain vanishes and appears next to Calliope giving her a quick yet tight hug and reappears back to her podium. "Behind that trap was a ring that didn't do anything so I tossed it to Edea, who found out it was." She puts her hands in the air and spreads them apart, "Maaaaagic. Down further there was some writing in Prime Cordials..." Orri is interrupted by Zephyria, "Primordial Orri." Orri points quickly at her, "YES, that one. It lead me down a tunnel to a group of fishy guys. They had a bunch of eggs...which didn't seem appropriate to just destroy them. I have learned that some things are just that bad." She leans into her shoulder to remember something. "..gods like clean temples, remember that...Anyway I was conflicted but Anaxa showed that these guys are not out for fun tests of strength, they wanted us dead...and I may have yelled for them to get ready to battle us, an opponent must be ready for you so you can better yourself with the challenge, but they didn't care so...." Orri suddenly jumped straight into the air nearly fifteen feet up and came right back down crashing into the crate and breaking into it, "I swam in and took down the first fish guy! and suddenly another one swam out of nowhere and stabbed me, THEN a weapon appears out of thin air without someone holding it! AND THEN IT SWUNG AT ME!!" Standing in the crate rubble she imitates being hit, "Then Zephy did the cotton candy thing again and one of them tries to escape the ball, it tried to attack Anaxa while she was busy with another one, so I rushed him and dragged him back into the cotton candy, admittedly I was a little hungry, and I figured my body could withstand the poison. I held him there and started punching him in the gut." Filthy and Shin yelled with enthusiasm, "YEAH GET 'IM CAPTAIN!" Morrigan bows at her drunk admirers and goes into her Blazing God Impact movements, "Once he was taken care of, I saw in the distance those creepy babies were attacking Zephy. So I charged my energy and blasted them around her!" She readies herself for the next bit and nods to Edea, "After taking these crazy baby monster things down we thought to close up the cavern, so Eddy and I blasted it together with magic and energy!" A loud crack of thunder and lightning come from Edea's Kithera, "FUCK YEAH!" She yells.
 
"Suddenly the bright azure hue of the door of fate presented itself to us against the wall. We got to have a nice little rest and prepared for what was behind that door. That door had a bunch of dead bodies that turned into a two headed shark!!!" Orri winks to Edea and suddenly a dramatic piano like sting of two notes erupted into the air as an illusion of a massive two headed shark appears above Orri's head. The entire crowd, minus the strike team, all gasp and let out awes of amazement. The horrible creature ungulates and moves in the air as if barely holding itself together. "This horrible creature created a huge vortex in the water! Trapping a bunch of us in it, I had to summon the Chariot itself to grab Zephy by the hand and get her out of there." As she says chariot she points proudly toward the flag flying above them. "Once I got her and I out of there I summoned a ball of swirling ki above me and threw it right at the shark's heads. It enraged the avatar and he charged full speed at us....well it was apparently just an image of it, then Anaxa sliced so deeply into it that it panicked and slammed into the walls. We roamed in closer and wailed on the thing until it could take no more and we finished it off! We took down a none god god thing!" Raising her hand into the air, everyone in attendance followed along and they yelled into the night sky.
 
As the yells died down and the crew went to take another gulp of their drinks Orri went on, "....and then we brought all the stuff we found and came back to the ship! I gathered everyone here for some drinks and fun and then Shin asked me to tell everyone what happened." The officers and the crew looked at her skeptically as she began to recap the recap. "There is no way she is going to keep going right?" "No, come on....oh my god she is." Some of the crew whispering to themselves. Zephyria and Calliope look at each other in disbelief and Zephyria can't help but let out, "Sweet tree...I don't think I have the words...wow she is going through the entire story again.."
