S: 29 Pomporia is for Lovers, When you're here, you're family

by The Crimson Hero! Morrigan Maygal

Pomporia isn't as much war torn as it was devastated by a kill hungry psychopath, but there is an energy on the island, a beauty that seems to effect visitors in a particular way. Causing thoughts of romance to blossom in even the most battle hardened hoplite. Causing seemingly romance less jocks to become some of the most romantic individuals alive, what it seems like is.....

Pomporia is for Lovers

Within this the island is a fine establishment for food, a restaurant that welcomes you as if you're family. An up and coming place that Anaxa found out about and mentioned casually that they offer a special service, "Yes they seem to sell a never ending pasta and breadsticks." Orri's large ears perked up and, "Wait! So the food just keeps coming out forever?!" She said excitedly as Anaxa attempted to intercede, realizing her blunder, "Orri hold on I...." The demi-human was gone, vanished in a puff of smoke. The hoplite shaking her head and realized she would have to reimburse the poor restaurant owner.
A few days later after the events of Ifrit seventh, Drake was in the middle of his eighth mile of his ten mile run, when he felt a weight on his arm, the familiar grapple of his Morrigan, "Drake, guess what? I just remembered something Anaxa said about a place with endless bread sticks!" Drake's expression went from a smile to utter seriousness, he looked at his love in the eyes, "Bring me there." Orri smiled and dragged in to the Garden of Olives, "Here! We can have dinner together." The smell of freshly baked breads and sauces with fish paste and meats, it wafted out to them and they were entranced and floated inside. One of the owners daughters comes to the table the couple sat at, Morrigan watching her approach with excitement bursting out, "Hello!" She then whispers, "Someone said you offer endless breadsticks and salads." The young woman smiles, "Why yes umm miss, we do." The young couple looks at each other with excitement and nod their heads and in unison say, "Can we have that!?" The waitress giggles and nods, bringing over a bowl of about five breadsticks, she places it down and before she can speak it is completely empty, "These are....oh...um...I could have sworn..." She says with confusion and looks up at Morrigan, "Those are really good....but there can be more...right?" She says with a warm smile, the confused waitress can do nothing but nod and rushes back with another bowl and once again it's empty before she can place it down. She notices both Drake and Morrigan chewing, she blinks a few times and rushes to the kitchen in the back, "FATHER! Father!" A middle aged man comes rushing over, "My dear what is it?" The woman looks at her father with a look of worry and horror, "Do you remember when you started the endless breadsticks, and I had that prophetic dream about the endless void swallowing them all?" The father thinks back and chuckles, "Yes I remember how silly that notion was, why do you mention it?" The daughter grabs her father by the collar and gets right in his face, her expression one of panic, "They are here!"
After what seems like an uncountable amount of breadsticks the young couple, seem to slow down and realize the day is disappearing, the poor waitress approaches and with a nervous tone, "Um...I'm sorry, but we are completely out of dough for breadsticks. You both ate them all." Morrigan had a look of horror that there would be no more breadsticks, she nodded and placed a somewhat heavy bag in the waitress's hands, "Oh ok, thank you for the food, come on Drake, let's go work off this food!" She grabs Drake's hand and speeds out of the restaurant leaving the dumbfounded woman holding a heavy bag of drachma, she suddenly screams as she counts out nearly a thousand coins. To say the Hive has not had some weird impact on this island would be a tremendous lie, but the island has seemed to have an effect on them as well, especially Morrigan.

This wonderful island now means almost everything to the love obsessed Morrigan, she finally accepted the love of her life where she didn't want to expect it. This island also brought upon her first kiss, now due to a certain merchant's intervention she has experienced yet another first.

A beautiful breeze lead the young woman to the sounds of her friend Amarabi and her sweet Artemis, the two seemed to be speaking business. Morrigan smiled as she approached seeing how close the two have become, it seemed like they were very old friends. Artemis barked and circled Orri with joy and licked her face and Amarabi smiled warmly. After a few pleasantries and friendly banter, the purple clad merchant gave the martial artist a very peculiar smirk, "My dear Morrigan, I wish for you to have these, special oysters! a wonderful meal to share with your man, On the house!" He nearly chuckled when Orri and Artemis looked at him with confusion for the same reason, for once, "On the house?" They both said. In typical Orri fashion she studied the oysters with hunger and finally asked, "You want Drake and I to eat this on a house?" Amarabi saw it coming and came back quite quickly with, "No, it means free my friend." A statement that went against everything Artemis taught her, but she took the oysters with a smile and went off to find her love. Amarabi and Artemis glance at each other with a knowing smirk.

Morrigan quickly sprinting toward the Blade of Ifrit, Across the island the ground shook underneath him with each practice swing Drake made, only stopping when Orri appeared beside him planting a soft kiss on his cheek. She held up the gifted meal, "Hungry? Amarabi gifted us a dinner, we have to eat it on a house." Barely a look of confusion on his face as Drake agreed and they found an empty house and sat on the roof under the stars. Such a sweet and romantic idea, the endless lights above them, and a bright blue marble in view made Orri smile. As if she was sharing this moment with her moms as well. They are completely unaware a certain voyeur elf sitting inside the house with her special goggles looking up through the roof at the young couple, hoping the oysters take "effect"

Smiling and enjoying the night with Drake, Morrigan tasted and enjoyed the oysters, feeding a couple to Drake. They laughed and looked at the stars as they finished up the gift from Amarabi, "These are actually tasty, but the texture is...interesting." She then remembers Anaxa's gift and pulls out the small keg and makes it produce wine for both of them, "This is nice..." Orri blushes and takes a sip of the wine. Her heart started beating faster a few seconds ago, something she just assumed was the joy of being with Drake. It began to pump harder in her chest, and her face flushed quickly, her mind started to race as well. Her imagination flashed with images of the letter Anaxa had written about things she wanted to do to Malius, her breath getting a little heavier as she remembered the things written in it, and she gulped her mind raced with images of Drake, and the time they spent on the deserted island months ago. His shirtless form, the way his arms look swinging a sword, that very special smile....She felt her heart pounding harder as she finally looked over at Drake, who seemed to be going through something similar. Their eyes met and a strong feeling could be felt between them. Their heavy breathing matching each other's, something was reaching a fever pitch and a high elf from her hidden theatre was waiting for such a moment. The young lovers stared into each others eyes, looking with nothing but desire for each other, the juice of the oyster urging their already strong feelings into action. Grabbing each other's hands and getting close the two lost themselves in each other.

Greys and purple light coming through an ornate window cast on a loving couple as they set up a special glass surface, "Don't give me that look, I'm not worried I just want to see what our little girl is up to." The lavender haired woman shooed away her wife's objections, "Mayvin, don't lie to me, you miss her so much and just want to see her.....fine fine we can scry on her....well I'll scry on the mirror. Because of your "gift" it's hard to see her." Ereskagal sticks her tongue out and starts to perform the ritual. After a few impatient moments the mirrored surface starts to wave and become clear, gently revealing the location and visage of their loving daughter. "Oh she seems to be......" The image becomes clear and the scene before them was of a loving couple in mid sexual bliss. Morrigan's mother's jaws drop hard as they curse their luck at their timing. The door behind them bursts open, an attractive woman in a beautiful robe walks in with a large tankard of beer in her hand, "Did you do the ritual yet, what is my sweet niece up to! I'm sure she is just training righ....." Ninkasi finally sees the scene and blushes stifling a laugh, "WOO go Orri!" She nudges Mayvin, "Come on Mayvin, GOD OF LOOOVE, aren't you proud of your daughter?" Ninkasi laughs heartily, as Mayvin takes a small handle from her side and a massive blue blade forms out of it and she slices through the ritual casting it away, she then tries to act like she saw nothing and leaves Ninkasi and Ereskagal. "Oooo that boy is in TROUBLE." The god of beer chuckles and winks at Ereskagal, "Oh come on "Lady of the Grey Wastes" my little niece is a big girl now.....she may not be...the quickest of wit in the room, but she is clever enough to figure life out. This guy seems to care for her right?" Ereskagal sighs and nods, "Yes, I guess. She found the love of her life....I'm just more worried about the influence from the world."

After her interlude, Morrigan became what some would describe as insufferable. Flying high with joy and life in general Morrigan beamed as she enjoyed the island, apart from one pestering thought that arose once or twice.

".....for now."

Amarabi's voice would break through after their oyster talk, "It's not JUST "for now" She mumbled to herself. Her connection with one of her dearest friends was strong, and nothing could break it, she loved Zephyria so much. The high elf was there for her from the beginning, and taught her so much about this upside down world of Meria. The idea that she would not have her friend created such sad emotions in the martial artist. Amarabi didn't know what he was talking about, Orri was Zephyria's friend, and she was Orri's. Simple as that, why would Zephyria stop being her friend? Morrigan will just have to put the effort in and make sure her dear elf would still appreciate her presence. Quick images of the purple haired evil Zephyria flashed in her mind, "That was the bad Zephy, and she is gone, so everything will be fine." For the rest of their time on the island, every so often Morrigan would speed to Zephyria's shack and leave a few flowers and a note from her, "Morning! Love you!" It seemed to relieve her anxiety about Amarabi's words, "Not "for now"...FORever." She told herself, and spent the night sitting on a cliff with Drake and Artemis, cuddling her two boys.
