The cargo, it was precious to our homeland. The man gripped the key in his hand with desperation, and covetous zeal. A soul clinging to the aging corpse continues to emit thought, a complex mind with possessive rage and power. In the absence of light it festers as it grows in strength, and unworldly strength, the darkness imprisoning him, all that he can see, absolute horror, he cannot live, he cannot die, trapped in himself, his body his holding cell.....but perhaps not. The mistake of invading the plane of the dead would be his boon, as he absorbed the energy of the ethereal. His corrupted mind and soul turning the dead into his own power, laughing with every advancement of his corruptive power.
This land is mine now, I will keep this treasure safe, my treasure. His tie to Mavros Lykos somehow still lingers in a corner of his broken mind. He waited, gathered power, time an illusion to him now. Silence but for the wailing of the damned, or is this footsteps? Visitors, willing visitors, laughable, their essence will become his power! Foolish mortal scum come descend and meet me. His joy at stealing these foolish mortals lives. The team of mortals descends and approaches what is left of his skeletal form, brittle and useless he needs it not, his mind encased in the source of power his skull, it floats into the air and looks down upon the frail and powerless creatures. These creatures stand no chance MWAHAHA....huh?! The skull can feel hands upon it as it is gripped out of the air. What nonsense is this?! Unhand me...it is not listening, look at it, silly horns and a....a demi-human?! OW!! did it just punch me?! FOOL you cannot damage my powerful...OW!! AGAIN?! Unhand me mortal....by the gods!! OWWW! My skull....is cracking?! This is not possible...His consciousness begins to dissipate but not before seeing the embarrassing sight of the hoplite as a frail slip.
"Ooops...guys I broke it..." The demi-human look guiltily at the shattered skull fragments on the ground. The Hive looks at Morrigan in disbelief knowing full well she has no idea what she just broke. It seems not knowing things doesn't stop the ridiculous martial artist from doing the unbelievable.
Before all this the Hive had to plan to acquire that skull's treasure, a long lost item destined for Edea herself. Their destination was for somewhere called the Etheral plane, told to Morrigan as the land of the dead. After about ten minutes of explaining that it wasn't a good land of the dead, Orri's excitement faltered with her thoughts of home vanishing, "A bad land of the dead, weird." She mumbled to herself, and went along with the plan. Distracting herself with the idea of adventure and steering her vessel, she enjoyed the voyage until all the ships suddenly froze in place and began to float, with the crew of the Blazing Chariot floating around her. She delighted at being able to fly, it was such a rare treat for her because of her severance....however it was drastically slow to move in the air. How do people survive going this slow?! She did take some advantage of it though, slowly floating over to her love. She descended upside down in front of him, booping his nose with a smile as she steals a kiss from him, "Hey, I think we are doing...something. So can you protect the crew?" Drake finds himself smiling at his love's affection and nods at her request. As he does so a large winged creature appears beside the Blazing Chariot, Morrigan smiled at Drake as she jumped on the Admiral's back, "See you, Darling." The Admiral took off, and while Orri stared at Drake as they flew away, she could feel an odd sensation of hands on her body. She got red in the face and noticed the many goblins around her, and sudeenly their words seems familiar as they surrounded her and seemed desperate to get closer, she screamed and panicked as her legs acted on instinct and she leapt straight up into Anaxa on her broom, gripping the hoplite around the waist tightly, "ANAXA HELP ME!!!" Anaxa chuckled to herself and heads to the ship they found.
Spending most of her time being as far away as possible from the Admiral and her family, Morrigan ran through the ship looking for whatever might lead them to their goal. Running through a door and finding herself in a beautiful red gown and being approached by Drake in a fine suit. Her bright excitement showing on her face as she eagerly let herself be swept away by what she assumed was her own daydream. Dancing with her man in what she always dreamed of, then suddenly he became a gross wolf thing and she was trapped in a force cage. There were holes in it, and a wolf stood behind Zephyria, Amarabi's words rang out in Orri's memories and she became eager to protect her dear elf friend. Taking random things from her pockets and her tit hole she threw things at the wolf. A ring that seemed worthless, and her precious shrinking wardrobe, in a sincere hope to keep Zephyria safe and more importantly happy.
This place was strange, a ship full of odd things and monsters, Orri didn't really know what to make of it. Her preconceptions of her home, kept throwing her off, especially when she saw a floating head, her ignorance about lichs shown through, when she grabbed it and started breaking it. "Must be some sort of magic item that turns people frail and short, poor Anaxa" She thought to herself as it broke in her grasp. Looking over at poor Anaxa. Her dear little sister was finally just that and it was such a shock. Poor Anaxa, she is so proud and strong, to suddenly be shrunk and lose her muscle must have been so scary for her. Morrigan looked on at her little sis and couldn't believe it....the sight...the change...she was so....CUTE!!! She surely won't be happy if it's mentioned too much, "Her pride will not take this...but I should talk to her about it. I'm sure we have time here in this weird place."
