Eschaton was ravaged by our attach -- and even though magic can make this process faster, it cannot cure all wounds.
Discussions were had on Eschaton's future as a town. Murg was able to secure his trade routes, and Milo resolved to connect his peoples with the known world -- through diplomacy and economic cooperation.
We grouped in the market, talking over the state of things. A blade flashed in the sunlight, to Murg's neck: "Dannerick sent me." The orc at the other end introduced himself as Glower, and pulled us to a nearby tavern's cellar for drink and talk.
From within the Vechti Confederacy, Dannerick had sent us information on the Altar of Gaddazh -- a place we could use to speak with the devils of Glasya. He still sought information, and would fill us in as he found more information.
"And in one year's time, I will challenge you again Murg," Glower finished, his visage growing dark.
As expected, I was planning on returning to Bezia. The city needed support, and the treachery of Admin Conor (and disappearance) was something that needed to be tackled.
Varunmund asked if it could accompany me back to Bezia. Including: "And it would be difficult to describe in short form, I would like to dictate schema for a more independent body that could be built."
Theobald sought out his mentor Ormund, to find his mentor meditating in the arcane. He greeted Theo as an equal -- as an archmage -- and reassured Theo that existence was difficult, but worthwhile.
Murg double-checked on Nerea in Henrik's laboratory underneath Eschaton.
Tooth, Fang & Claw
Month 1: Traveling
I visited my family outside of Bezia and inside the city, taking a month to myself before returning to Sapphire's court.
Month 2: Bezia & Varunmund
Having returned to Bezia, I helped organize a day of remembrance & procession helmed by Knight Sigis.
Varunmund shared schema with me on a possible body: a warforged-body, but without sentience. Thinking of whom would know more, I reached out to Sawscha in Ibrithil to see if she knew any warforged whom I could speak to. She referenced Indrada, and how underneath the city sits a small community of gnomish artificers. Their artificing guild there is run by a warforged, GA-1, who would love a small gift of platinum lugnuts if I would visit. I communicated this to Theo, and we agreed to work our schedules alongside one another to travel cooperatively to Indrada.
Theo was knee-deep in building his vinyard and a new brewery.
Murg & Milo broke foundation on a trading lodge in the territory of the Carhu clan's lands. They even commissioned Theo to secure a painter for them, to commemorate the event.
The end of the month saw Theo and I travel to Ibrithil. We were greeted in the Grand Watch by a retinue of soldiers and a horse train, as well as the great one-eyed Ciarcius. Obliged, the dragon flew the pair to Indrada. On the way, Ciarcius spoke of how he helped the Inquisitorius required his help to defeat the gremory in Indrada.
We found GA-1 on the ramparts of Indrada, repairing the walls of the city. After meeting Varunmund, he agreed to work with me to design a warforged body over less than a week. As I worked, Theo learned of a cleric of Vrianna in Indrada, a dwarf called Kegbreaker -- Nord Kegbreaker.
