As I wrapped up with GA-1, Theo came to me after meeting with the storm giant's shaman. He had heard more on a stranger in Ibrithil: a Kegbreaker, a cleric of Vrianna, was in Ibrithil. If it was Nord Kebreaker, one of the three to escape the Auran catastrophe (M'Crush, Nord Kegbreaker, and Dannerick), then we wanted to see what he was doing here. And if he was truly connected to Vrianna, I had questions.
A hill giant pointed me towards Vrianna's temple -- the white-doored temple. The cleric Maelekai within offered help, pointing me to a traveler's shrine to Vrianna within the temple. There, I found a golden sigil etched in Dwarvish -- I copied it down as best I could, then touched it. This programmed illusion revealed to me Nord Kegbreaker, who spoke: "To any who have been truly touched by Vrianna, if you can read this message, I seek a dear friend [whom] I lost, whose fate I cannot see. I travel the lands, seeking guidance [on this]. If you can decipher this rune, find me. But do not contact me unless you offer help."
I let Dannerick know this, and then Theo. Unsure of how to proceed with Vrianna's paladin, I hired a winter-ready mount, purchased provisions, and rode south back to Grand Watch in order to return to Bezia.
Theo continued on to Hrathamari's Peak. Passing over the Isle of Spring, Ciarcias encouraged the wizard to investigate the inner lakes, where he met once more refugees we had saved in Ibrithil. Once at Hrathamari's Peak however, Theo was able to commune with Hrathamari himself -- and he was left with more questions than answers. Ciarcius flew the young seer to Grand Watch, and we met up to return to the mainland.
Across the seas, Murg and Milo finished their festivities with the Carhu clan.
They met with their connections, and hunted down none other than Milo's mother.
After I returned to Bezia and began working on the two-month project that would become Varunmund, Theo contacted me/us. We would reconvene at the end of the month in Bezia, to compare our progresses.
