Near to the western gate is a set of stables, made of the standard wood and stone often found throughout. Though many often put stables outside of the cities due to the cleanup, Lakeacre had put its within the walls as it was originally designed as a military installation. The stables are kept clean by a rotating staff. They most often keep a stock of drift and riding horses, selling to lumber companies or to travelers whose horses hadn't made the full journey.
