Bliznian Civil War
Overview
Takes place during CAMP Year Two It sees Percival Bloom and Gaius Basil take over the city but resisted by a coalition of others including College of Adventurers at Minos Point East Side Cobras Reptilians half the Senate of Bliznia and many others.
Outcomes
The fighting has stopped, and many factions are gone completely, but echos remain. Octavia Basil managed to form a new faction and then a coalition within the senate, this allows her to finally get out of the shadows of her father, and of Percy. She quickly makes moves as the new Consul, bringing in a new Constable in Marius Cain, and making a deal with the remaining East Side Cobras, turning the former street gang into a community group that also acts as a neighborhood watch. With Bareak and Percy dead, plus the reptilians gone, the Cobras Senate Alliance is the major power through out the summer, but its all tenuous as a there have been a lot of criminals that broke out of the Detention center during the finale. Still, its less factions as it is good guys vs bad guys right nowSummery
The Bliznia Civil War was a significant conflict rooted in political turmoil, gang tensions, and factional rivalries within the city of Bliznia . The war had three primary factions:
Percival Bloom 's Faction: Percival became @King after his marriage to Octavia Basil , cementing his authority and influence. His faction consisted of loyalists who supported his rule, backed by powerful nobles and government officials.
Thomas Bareak 's Faction: Thomas Bareak, a political and military leader, opposed Percival's rule. His faction included various military elements and groups that favored a different vision for Bliznia's future, with Bareak seen as a strongman capable of leading.
The Insurgents: A diverse coalition consisting of various senators, parts of the East Side Cobras gang, the Reptilians (a Dragonborn street gang), and students from the College for Adventurers at Minos Point (CAMP). The Insurgents represented a populist and rebellious force, rejecting the rule of both Percival and Bareak. This faction advocated for more democratic reforms and aimed to overthrow the existing power structure.
The war was fueled by long-standing tensions between Bliznia's aristocracy, criminal elements, and reformist forces. The presence of CAMP students within the Insurgent faction added an unpredictable and youthful dynamic, while the involvement of the Cobras and Reptillians highlighted the deep-rooted influence of gangs in the city's politics.
Throughout the conflict, Bliznia experienced widespread chaos, with battles taking place both in the streets and within its political institutions.
