Bobushio introduces the new Captain of The Dragons Redemption and together they travel to Rockshire to meet with a contact named Saul Goodgrove

Caia does some reseach and finds out that the tomb of Crossed Words is associated with a wizard named Randolfo. A lot of the information is redacted.   Bobushio talks to each person except Gilly and wants to know how she did with the ship Ellinore. Alcath tells him that they left it in Astrafell in the care of the Gatrell Family in Astrafell. Alcath says that the ship is probably well cared for.   Bobushio confronts Caia that she was miffed that Gilly was made captain. He wants to know how she did, and she gives a good review.   Thuniel determines that two of the bards Erlan and Erlee are likely the same person under different stage names.   Thuniel makes sure that she could bring Meara, then we decide to fly to Rockshire. Gilly and Moz say goodbye to Matriach dSilvis.   Bob introduces the remaining crew of the Dragons Redemption Carmela Norman, Svee Desh, Doctor Tick and Rosco Urnon   Rosco dotes on Bobushio. They salute Gilly as she boards. Bob wants to give her command of Dragon’s Redemption because he’s not fit for duty currently. He gives Gilly another earring to represent her second command that she installs high on the opposite side. Rosco is anxious to serve.   Gilly tasks Roscoe to find out how Chef makes ice cream.   Thuniel approaches Dr. Tick about the hairs and asks how long ago they might have been lost or if he’d be able to identify someone based on scent from them. Bobushio is able to amplify the scent. Doctor Tick was able to say, if we get a dog or a tracking animal, we could easily track the scent (which Moz could do).   Chef brings Gilly her icecream and only she gets some because the stocks are low and he only had enough ingredients for one scoop.   Doctor Tick recounts the story of his death for Thuniel. He was on an island and was led to a cave. There he found a giant ten-eyed creature and it trapped him in a cave for days and days. His friend Arlan Soren died from starvation. Then he heard a ruckus, and he played his violin until he died, and they (the party) came through the door. Then a strange bald, blue man resurrected him. After that the island changed and we took the people from that island and went to Oni island with Bobushio, and we dropped everyone else off where they desired to go. By the time we got back from taking people home, there was an airship.   On the way, we all find a gold piece in our pockets.   The Shades approach Rockshire late in the day, the city is filled with lights and the hustle and bustle of a unregulated society. It’s a seedy, underhanded, and lots of terrible people.   The Tabaxi control the bridge and the outskirts of the city. The dwarven mafia controls river travel. We could land on the river and sail up, or we could park far away and walk in. Or we could fly right up and get into the compound.   Gilly fled, in part, to avoid marrying a mafia son of another family. Gilly explains on the ride about the politics. Gilly has aunts and uncles know as the “Ivy Crew”. Her dad is the don of the Ivyhill Family. The Ivy Crew was: Trigger, Big Tuna, Jackie the Nose, Louie Haha, and Zips. They had “Gardners” and “Roots”, fixers and soldiers respectively. “Face” was there all the time whenever there was a problem. The consigliere/lawyer. Gilly’s life was fun; she had lots of friends and family and got whatever she wanted. Her mother loved her dearly and tried to protect her from the evils of her family. Gilly was doted on by everyone (except Face). As she got older, everything changed.   Ivyhill controls the north side of the town. Everyone could recognize her and/or have her contract.   The party decides to hop off the ship, then meet them at a rocky outcropping the Halfling call (Dwarf Butt Rock) along the road northward at noon or midnight. If we need emergency extraction, Caia will skywrite a nightshade flower to signal for the dragons redemption to come pick them up.   Thuniel, Caia and Bob work together and disguise Gilly as a sailor. She takes the name “Conrick Moshhair” known as The Con. Doctor Tick concocts something to make her voice rougher.   We plan to have Bobushio go in as if searching for supporters and backers. He has contacts here, but no jewelers. Bob has a contact in Rockshire named Saul Goodgrove.   Alcath discoves the deathnote for Gilly is not working when they wake in the morning. Bobushio agrees to let Caia change into a Tiefling, if she wants, just this once.   In the town, Bobushio makes a big showy sight in gold and silver as Samurai-esque armor appears quickly around his body. Showing the rest of the party he has changed subclass to Armorer from Artillerist. He draws attention to himself. Thuniel pays there way into the city.   Gilly knows where she is and could walk home blindfolded. The sights and sounds of the city bring back memories and feelings long since lost and forgotten. Saul is centrally located near the Pole and the Ivy Hill/Helms Ferry border.   The Party travels to the The Golden Touch a fancy brothel/inn in Ivy Hill. Thuniel gets rooms. Bobushio sends for Saul to talk to him. Saul says he’s heard stuff going on with Bobushio and asks about the state of the OniKuru. After a brief chat Saul confides in Bobushio there’s chaos in Ivy Hill; a power grab is going on. Saul wants to know if it’s okay to talk in front of Conrick (Gilly).   Reginard is losing his power and there’s an ongoing bid for control because he’s showing weakness. People are coming at him from all angles. The Family might not be completely loyal either. Ever since the death of Malora, it seems like Reginard is becoming more and more unhinged. He’s making mistakes and doing things that are out of character for him. Gilly signs to ask what weaknesses he is showing.   He’s exposing his organization to scrutiny and making dumb mistakes. He used to be so precise, but now he’s taking unnecessary risks. The Clan and Helms Ferry are both jostling for position. Saul says that the daughter of Reginard, Gilandre (Gilly) has been missing for years. There are some hefty contracts for her capture. death or return. There’s one from Helm’s Ferry for alive , and one that’s less for dead. The Ivy Hill contracts are all for bringing her in alive, in the amount of 100,000 GP.   Not a lot of people have confirmed seeing Reginard in over a year. He does not make public appearances, and he’s become a recluse. So many people love the daughter, Bobushio suggests the daughter might be able to take over the family.   Bobushio asks how Malora died. Saul asks for money to jog his memory. Conrick (Gilly) gives Saul ten gold on Bob’s order, but it’s not enough. Saul asks about the horse he came in with, and asks what he knows about Simblemyne family. Bob says he knows they’re not to be crossed.
