The Woodway Family

Known for their skilled and unique horses, the Woodways thus far only consist of a single figure: Christina Woodway, who is still only 16 years of age. Despite her youth and lack of history, she is highly-liked and appreciated by her people.

Structure

Perhaps the strangest system by most people's standards, the people of Lothel practice a democratic system and vote for a new Lord or Lady when the old one dies. They come together and you may be nominated by another party, and then people vote for the nominated parties.

Culture

The land is full of farmers and horse-tamers. They live and breath their steeds and it shows. As such there is little high society or fancy living. Those who refuse to work receive little to no respect and those who do more and shown to be appreciated by the others.

Assets

Their greatest asset is without a doubt their steeds. Lothelian steeds are incredibly smart, fast, and loyal. Anyone would appreciate such a steed.

History

Lady Christina: 2692 Lady Woodway is a strong young woman of 16, known as the Lord of Horses by her subjects and was made famous for leading a small band of fighters to help drive back the monsters who had been feasting upon the farmers and their crops in the area, eventually leaving nothing left but their singular hold in the hills.

Law/Care

While the Woodways hold a passing respect for the Riverwoods for upholding a country, the Riverwoods find it impressive all that Lady Woodway has done to care for her people.

Goblin Death

On an unusual note, the Gasters hold a deep hatred for the Woodway family due to their wide killing of the goblins in the nearby hills, giving Lord Wix's origins.

Beast Death

The Underborne strongly disapprove of the way that Lady Woodway has murdered several of the beasts in the hills instead of studying them or putting them to a use.

Money/Horses

While the Eviers have an interest in the Woodway horses, the horse lords dislike the Eviers, as they view them as money-lovers and unwilling to earn a true living.
