Port Mosebey
About a week’s journey through the pass through the mountain pass from Bryn Shander, Port Moseby is a miserable port town, more known as a port-o-call for area pirates, whalers, and other rough types.

Government
The people of Port Mosebey work in exchange for payment from their employers, which they use to buy the necessities. Affairs are handled by the Hand, the head of whom is Mardnab Pingun.
The policing presence in Port Mosebey is a militia; the guards of The Mighty Peacemen are part time, and there is rarely any need for the use of force. There is little in the way of actual law. The main rule seems to be ask for forgiveness rather than permission. The one iron rule is that The Hand is not to be crossed. Any infraction that affects The Hand's business is dealt with quickly and harshly. Otherwise, the rule of law is enforced on behalf of those who can best pay for it.
Industry & Trade
Trade in Port Mosebey is regulated, with taxes and restrictions on what can be brought in and out of the town, and people live a modest existence because of it. The trade guild enforces rules, with stiff penalties and trade bans for rule-breakers. Welfare is non existent. Citizens can expect the absolute bare minimum of services. Healthcare and education are totally ignored, and those unable to fend for themselves starve.
