SHIELD
SHIELD - Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement, and Logistics Division.
Founded by Peggy Carter, Howard Stark, and Chester Philips after WWII, SHIELD is an international spy network infested from inception by HYDRA.
Interaction with Tony Stark
During 1992, as Tony Stark worked more and more with the then-director Peggy Carter, he became aware of SHIELD. He interacted with Keller from the start of his term as Director, offering to be a test run for bodyguards and agents alike. As James Rogers becomes more and more the security person for Stark Industries he starts training agents through his own security department, Stark Security. Tony sent James to assist during the appearance of Carol Danvers in 1995. Following that, he opens up to Fury and Coulson about the HYDRA infestation in SHIELD and his plans for Meta Rights.
