Daishonin, The Lord of Plenty
Minor God of Abundance, Trade, Happiness, and Craftsmanship
"Hey, mister...you look kinda like that statue my dad keeps in his barn." "Hmm? Do I, now...? Hoho. Why do you think that is?" "Uhh...I dunno. He said it was some kinda...uh...important guy, I think. Are you important? Oh! Are you famous? Are ya? Some kind of HERO?" "A Hero? Hahahaha! Certainly not - I'm just an old man trying to get this field done before the frosts set in. And I'm rather lazy, besides! No, no. Your father is the real hero, I think, little Daichi. Here - take my hat, and run along home. It's getting late, and your head is getting awfully sunburned." "Ehehe...okay! I-huh? He's gone...wait! How did he know my name?Titles: The Laughing Duke, The Tradesman, The Lord of Plenty, Master of Rice and Grain, The Worker's Craftsman, Allfather's Apprentice Favored Weapon: Scythe, Kusarigama Alignment: Neutral Good Church Moniker: Church of the Laughing Duke Obedience: Spend an hour tilling the soil and planting seeds in the surrounding area that will not prove invasive or corruptive to the local ecosystem. If you cannot do such a thing, spend an hour tallying up the value of all your possessions and how you would improve them if you had made them yourself - once done, spend the rest of the hour repairing or improving them as needed. Effect: You can affect a single plant with a Plant Growth Effect by tending to it for at least an hour. Spending time tending to a field can produce the same effect for that field. By concentrating for a standard action while outdoors in a fertile area, you can summon up plants of a type you are concentrating on(Fruits, Vegetables, Trees, Vines, Etc) from underground or relocated from the surrounding area - you do not have exact control over what is summoned in this way, and if this ability relocates a hostile plant creature you do not have control over it; it merely will target you last if other targets are available.

Artifacts
Though Daishonin's faith is widespread across the lands of The Inaran Imperium, it has altogether few artifacts as his faithful prefer to stick to simple, down to earth tasks and duties that rarely see them seek out or create artifacts from their Deity.
The sole artifact of Daishonin known to exist is a simple straw hat known as The Walkabout Johnny - said to have once belonged to a noteworthy man of Daishonin's faith who lived centuries ago as he walked the entire continent of Inara planting seedlings everywhere he went; a man said to be single-handedly responsible for the repopulation of no less than 18 varieties of fruit, vegetables, and other plants across the continent. The hat, said to have inherited a shard of his passionate dedication to preserving crops and the natural plantlife of the realm, imbues those who wear it with a shard of Walkabout Johnny's inexhaustible stamina, give them a huge bushy beard and long luscious hair, the ability to draw seeds of any type from one's pockets, to exert moderate control over nearby plantlife, protection while walking and traveling, and many more abilities whispered of but undocumented. This hat, as it is not believed to be overly durable and has faired poorly against the passage of time and natural wear and tear, is protected by the Faithful and enshrined in Daishonin's central temple in Inara as more of a relic than a usable item.
