Culture
Funerary and Memorial customs
Burial is the norm among the Yfrigíans as with most Mörkels. Their monarchs and other members of the royal family are interred in huge burial mounds (similar to Mycenaean tholoi), north of Óvar, along with food and drink, weaponry and Hyrnings.
Common Myths and Legends
Their patron deity is Ötrar, god of the river Óv, though he's mostly venerated by the aristocracy, while commoners mostly worship the fertility goddesses Leþa and Írkana instead.
1Original icelandic: Yfrigíumenn, singular: Yfrigíumaður
