Seteth had been enslaved and Ennalan was part of the group that liberated her encampment. She had just been rescued from severe abuse and he was still fairly young but they were attracted to each other. They started dating but his inexperience and her recent trauma resulted in a lot of misunderstandings at first. The proximity of their work meant they stuck with it and the wisdom of some older members kept things fairly healthy. This went for several years but it did eventually end. Not on bad terms but when the Platinum Prerogative dissolved and the rest of the windblown founders decided to group, the pair decided it was time to end things and go their seperate ways.
History
Aay and Ennalan hit it off early in their mercenary carrers, meeting through the prerogative. They would pair with each other regularly to scout and setup ambushes. Years later they still hang out occasionally. Aay doesn't bring it up to the rest of the founders but they have a solid friendship still.

They know each other from the prerogative, and while they're on good terms they never really worked in the field with each other that much. Xior was extremely frontline and Ennalan was almost always backline. There was not a lot of privacy in the makeshift camps of the prerogative and Xior was still pretty fresh off of his family's death so Ennalan would build him private spaces away from the rest of the company. Since that started the two have had a very chill relationship.

Met in waterdeep, and after getting caught up in some of Ennalan and Verilath. They ended up leaving and she saw the potential to further her own goals. It helps a lot that there powers compliment each other so much. They've become a deeply effective team and talk with the casual familiarity of old friends.

The pair came across each other in the forest. Verilath was scouting ahead with her mist body when ennalan spotted it leaving. He found her sleeping body and waited until she woke up to engage her. When she woke up she was obviously spooked as fuck and ripped into him for being a creep. He shrugged this off and after demonstrating his abilities asked if she wanted to partner up. They did and have been using their combined abilities to do mercenary work ever since.
