Carson Parker
Lieutenant Carson Parker is an officer in the New California Republic Army, stationed in Blythe, under the command of his father, Major Nathan Parker, and his grandfather General Edward Parker.
Carson was born in 2277, to Nathan and Rebecca Parker in the Hub. At the time, the various merchant companies were waging open corporate warfare against one another. It was easy for both his parents to handle things, but when Caesar's Legion ramped up its attacks prior to the First Battle of Hoover Dam, Nathan, then a Captain, was called back from paternal leave, just in time for the fight at the Dam. Due to battlefield politics, Nathan was rarely able to get leave, only in 2279 was he able to come back to the Hub, before returning a few weeks later. Nine months afterwards, in 2280, Carson's brother, Edward Parker II was born, and Nathan once again could not get leave. This was the final straw for Rebecca, who moved to divorce Nathan, and move out of the Hub, to Dayglow. Growing up, Carson heard very ill of his father from his mother, until he heard his father on the news when he was five. At the time, Nathan was testifying against General Lee Oliver's gross misconduct during the Campaign, and spoke bluntly about how Oliver's grudge against him kept him from getting any leave. After that, Nathan, now a Major, started writing Carson on a regular basis.
By the time he was ten, Carson was frequently at odds with his mother over his father, this boiled over sometime after his 13th birthday, when Rebecca told him to leave he he wanted to meet his father so badly, and so Carson did. Hitchhiking with Caravans up to Fort Sierra, Carson finally met his father, and very quickly grew attached to him. For the next three years, Carson lived on base, until his 16th birthday, when he enlisted that day. Carson excelled like his father, and received recommendations from both his father and grandfather for the Officer's course in Fort Tandi. Carson graduated in 2294, and was stationed in Camp Reno. He remained there until 2299, when, along with his father and newly conscripted brother, he was reassigned to Blythe and the frontline, under the command of his grandfather.
