The Ajómax Rainforest1 is located in southwestern Laxilþía, between Móþon Lake to the north and the Kalis Swamp to the south, from the northeastern coast of Úrtal Sea to the west and gradually gives way to mixed forests in the highlands south of the Katark Mountains to the east.
It's home to two distinct cultures, the native Pakrans who once ruled numerous city-states there, and the Rexans who now rule the region, which falls under Pakróalx, a province of the empire of Resak.

Geography
The Ajómax Rainforest is made of three geographical areas, namely the lowlands to the west, the highlands to the east, and the area along the southern shores of Móþon Lake where the jungle gives way to the Nómek Plain.
Fauna & Flora
The jungle is home to a diverse wildlife, such as Pardi, Sylvan Tapirs, Laxilþían Jade Swans, quetzals, Blood Ducks, howler monkeys and numerous species of reptiles, amphibians and insects.
Natural Resources
The region is an important source of cacao, bell peppers, avocado, olive oil, mead, colourful feathers and pelts, medicinal plants and wild game.
