Pwenlylyn

Pwenlylyn is a continent in the far East of Halth'aire and is home to the Faityl people, a chivalrous and honor-bound culture of humans, as well as being the hearth of the Halfling and Orcish races. The continent is a land of rolling hills and sparse forests connected by vast grasslands covered in tall wildflowers and multi-colored stones. Large stone structures, natural in design, litter the meadows of this continent and act as sites of worship for the ritualistic faith of the Faityl. Four distinct kingdoms vie for control of the landmass as Talrice, an ever expanding monarchy on the West Coast, continues to pressure both Queria and Priwidor to submit against the fear of war. The Macavurian Principalities to the South face a succession crisis and potential civil war, leaving the Kingdom of Talrice in a perfect position to seize power.

Geography

Pwenlylyn is covered in sparse forests of short, willow-like trees with white trunks and blue foliage. Hilly plains cover the southern half of the continent while the western coast is mostly flat, covered by fields of tall wildflowers and grasses, and the northeast is instead covered by much thicker forests and rougher terrain. No major mountains or mountainous formations dot the landscape of Pwenlylyn as most of the continent's major geological formations are found underground instead in the landmass' extensive caverns. The Finlaean River and its tributaries travel down to the south coast, providing a major waterway and river basin for most of the continent.
