House Stolbrand
The Stolbrands were the house who first allied with the League and thus they were granted the honor of being its regents. The Stolbrands are a proud house, well known for its honor and dignity in all things. The house is often called the Fjornlords, much to their dismay, as they have maintained complete control over it and its holdings, ensuring that it controls the riches that flow into and out of the region, making it by far the most influential house.
The riches of their house has seen the Stolbrands are the first to fund the many endeavors of its people, with a hand in most dealings they maintain influence in all things and ensure prosperity to their house. Some maligned would even claim them mere merchants, but to the Stolbrands their first duty has always been to ensure bread to all their subjects.
The Stolbrands have a martial legacy that has both waned and blossomed over its years, particularly during the last Norakken War. The house is well known for its candid nature, never rude, but always truthful in its dealings. It is by their word and influence that the houses are kept together through shared bonds, never timid but always careful in its approach and never one to rush a decision.
Led by Lord Eric a war true Stolbrand to many, a war hero, a statesman, and historian. Eric was crowned in the field when his father was hit by a stray shell, Eric has since then led his people in these challenging times, to many he is a good and nobleman, but to some, he is indecisive and too passive in his dealing with the many ails that trouble the region in the wake of the war and threat that looms over them.
Well known for their blue and white heraldy of their garb, symbolizing the fjorn and the white mountain at it’s back, the land they conquered. The Weapon shield is a white crow above the twin axes of house Stolbrand, symbolizing their status as overlooking the region with wisdom and strength.
