Ao: The Overgod
Ao...
The Overgod...
The Watcher...
The Unseen one...
The One who is Hidden...
...All titles given to the God: Ao Ao is the creator of all things, the universe and world Ileth resides, every stick and stone, every grain of sand and breath of life. Ao even created the gods themselves. Despite this no one knows of his existence, not even the gods. They have not the slightest clue as to what made them; this itself is by Ao's design. As a God among gods Ao is not omnibenevolent, he is a selfish being of pure power who creates for his own amusement. For eons Ao has sat and watched the passing of time and revels in the appearance of "interesting characters" within his world. Largely Ao refrains from interacting with his creations though, rarely, Ao drops Shards onto the mortal plane with the intention of adding drama or amusement to the setting.
