Groupers Corner
The smell of a great variety of fish wafts over the air as well as the sound of surf and seagulls. Flopping catches smack and patter on the dock being freed from their nets before they are gutted and sold. Grouper is the fish for which this neighborhood gets its name. Fishing being the primary home industry of Portsmouth streets and neighborhoods tend to be named after fish. While The Maw may not have the highest place in the town council they seemed to have been given leeway as to how certain neighborhoods were named. Fishermen after all tell great tales and generally have the patience to remember everything.
Two of the most prominent fishmarkets in Portsmouth are run by two sisters and members of The Maw and independents will line up here to sell in the morning after making their catch and townsfolk will line up in the afternoon to purchase.
Curiosities of this neighborhood are the Bristli boar which seems to be the tavern favored by the fisherfolk and members of the Shelley Coats Smythes Laundry which rivals a small orphanage as to the amount urchins it houses. The Wrong Rapier which serves high class clientelle and yet houses goblins and the rufians of the Shore Wolves
Most fascinating of all is a castle that looks little bigger than a toy Soluble Solutions that houses a mysterious alchemist Moorigan Nepytys who owns a shop he lets few visit but produces demonstrations of a miracle elixir that sells well and keeps the place open.
Demographics

The Portsmouth Council provides security under the Yellow Jackets whom always look the other way in any activity involving the shore wolves.
