The city of Springstar is a sprawling, bustling metropolis that spans from one edge of the island to the other, leaving very little in the way of free space or breathable, open land; it is teeming with people and ever-expanding upon itself. It lifts high into the sky, an impressive, ever-evolving monument to the endless array of worlds and lands its people hail from — and thusly provides a little of everything one could ever hope to find within it.
Split into six unique districts —
Psychagogía (Entertainment),
Viomichanikós (Industrial),
Katoikitikós (Residential),
Empório (Commerce),
Akadimaïkós (Academics) and
Heliopolis — Springstar is a veritable fount of experiences and resources at one’s fingertips. Should you have a need, it will be filled somewhere; the Meris are confident and proud of their living, breathing cityscape filled to the brim with new and exciting memories waiting to be made — or revisited.
The entire city is a hodgepodge of architecture and vastly differing populations of people gathered like little swaths chucked out of the universe in all its vastness, pulled together and assembled into an ever-growing quilt. For example, while perusing the Residential district, one might find several blocks of high-domed ceilings and towering, statuesque marble fading into stained glass and ornate brickwork again fading into steel and neon blue vinery-lined domiciles.
At the very heart of the city sits Heliopolis — home to the
Helios Legionary and Seat of the Tribune.

Faction Attitudes
Meridian: Extremely positive. Meri are welcome and revered.
Shard-Bearers may receive small gifts like free meals or store discounts when out and about, especially as they prove their dedication further.
Zenith: Negative. Zenites are treated with anything from suspicion to open hostility, depending on their dedication to Zenith. High-profile Zenites might be hassled by the Legionary, and could be arrested if they rise to provocation.
Faction Loyalty: Meridian
Geography: Densely populated by manmade buildings with all available surface space on the island occupied by civilization.
Climate: Mediterranean, with relatively mild winters, very warm summers, and year-round moderate temperatures. Springstar’s seasons follow the Southern Hemisphere's.
Level of Technology: Post-Industrial Victorian era circa 1890s. Electricity exists but is uncommon and largely utilized by government buildings and applications (such as street lights) more than residential ones. Steam power is still the primary innovation, but gramophones, vitascopes, and bicycles are enjoying popularity.
Notable characteristics: Springstar is circled by two suns, Kyknos and Geraki, and in perpetual daylight; when one eclipses the other, the city falls into a state of ‘sunset’ that is as close to nightfall as it ever reaches.
