Kiiro River
The Kiiro River, sometimes known as 'Edo's Life' or 'The Life of the City' is a large, rather deep, underground water source which flows from the northwest of Edo and continues far to the southeast, where it is eventually split into several smaller estuaries. It facilitates large-scale mercantile travel between Vurn Todur and Edo, as well as a modicum of personal travel.
It's location makes it ideal as a waterborne route for bypassing the unholy lands of Erenoc, as the land-based roadways skirt near it's borders and are considered dangerous at best. The Kirro River also serves as the primary water source of both of those massive cities, and it's deltas, estuaries and depths provide much-needed food to the citizens.
