Quexsa

A large city in the Red Waters. While technically ruled by Umberlee, this city has the most soverignty of any location in the Red Waters due to it's size and booming trade.

The Berth

The docks, which are known best for being a tourist attraction. You'll often see sailors struggling to lift a coil of rope. The docks are average sized, with room enough for a fair few ships, and is spotless, save for a couple splashes of sea water. It is typically currently reasonably busy, with a decent amount of activity.  

The High Close bazaar

The market, which is located in an enormous opened city block. It seems that the vendors are organised by the social class to which the vendor caters. The market is known for rather pushy merchants, and is surprisingly tidy. Typically, the market is decently busy, and several people are going between shops examining all the different merchandise.  

The Noble Citrine

A daub building with a weathered thatched roof. Mostly known for its elaborately designed necklaces. This gem shop is known for always finding the diamond in the rough. The owner is a goblin with a rather wild, unkempt beard usually weighing a brilliant gemstone.

Government

The city is technically ruled by Umberlee however, a grouping of popular nobles runs the cities trade and therefore has slightly more influence than a far off queen.

Most of the city is armed, and willing to fight for it's defense. For a price.

Industry & Trade

Trade hub within the Red Waters. Because of the lack of Umberlee'a influence, cities outside the Red Waters are willing to trade within Quexsa.

Infrastructure

The city is large and sprawing, with shanty towns next to fancy castles.

History

Originally founded as a exploration outpost to explore the egde of the known world. When nothing was found for hundreds of years it eventually was settled and became a trade route.

No shared architecture due to the variety of cultures and races.

Flat city with a large wide river running through the center.

A handful of gemstone mines.
