Hyozan, the Howling Citadel
In the frigid north atop a magically mobile glaciar, Hyozan the Howling Citadel is a home to the Tokan Clan of Frost Giants. They produce salt and host the yearly Great Hunt.
Government
The Tokan Clan is located in a remote area of Kazanshiro, atop a mighty glaciar. They mostly mind their own business, aspiring to greater influence than their rivals in the Kasai Clan but lacking the climate to do so effectively.
Defences
The biting cold will kill most intruders before they get to Hyozan's gates. But if that fails, frost giant warriors are happy to test their might against any foes.
Industry & Trade
They harvest the purest sea salt on the continent, a valuable component in preserving and seasoning food.
Points of interest
The Howling Iceberg, which the Tokan Clan built their citadel atop of, is full of oppurtunities for adventure.
Every year they hold the Great Hunt where contestants compete to bring down dangerous monsters, the winner receiving a banquet, enchanted weaponry and the oppurtunity to train with the elite Frostguard.
The two biggest temples in Hyozan are a temple to O-Asahi the Sun and to O-Hiroto the Stormbringer. They pray for more sunlight to warm them and that the storms will be merciful.
