Situated next to the Endless Rockslide from the Spirit Realm, Shokunin is a vital site of innovation and invention for the field of anvilgraft and robotics. It is also the cultural center of the Kasai clan of fire giants, now that their ancient capital is marred by controversy.

Despite it's location at the edge of Kasai territory, it has become the cultural center of Kasai. The Mayor wields outsized influence, as they also have invaluable inventors and innovators clamoring for approval and funding constantly that they can leverage for clout. They've chosen to subsidize inventors and anvilgraft pioneers to gild the cities reputation as a place on the bleeding edge of technological advancement, while choosing to tax mining and other industries to compensate.

Defences

The Rockslide Riders are an elite crew of warforged, anvilgraft users and piloted drones who patrol the outskirts of the city on alert for threats.

Industry & Trade

The proximity of the Endless Rockslide falling from Grandshell City allows for a booming trade in minerals, gemstones and metal. Much of these materials are refined locally, often used by foundries creating anvilgraft, warforged and various frames of automatons.

Temples to Hiroto the Stormbringer, Makigai Grandshell and Danro the Flame of Creativity are the most important here. Hiroto is important to all the various giant craftspeople who call this place home and Hiroto a father figure. Makigai's realm supplies them with the endless ore that is vital to the cities function. Danro is equally vital to the creative spirit of the settlement.

Tourism

Brick Forge Bakery: A bakery where all the baked items are cooked or served with smithing equipment and all the staff are either warforged or have anvilgraft. Known for it's showy environment and consistently scrumptious pastries and sandwiches.
