Hanako 13: "Isamu"
General Summary
Isamu shows off a new magic ring to Hanako, prompting them to plan to use it for mischief. After witnessing Shinobu and Hidehito engaging in intimacy, Hanako helps teach Ai how to tease Kazuyuki. After tending to Toshiaki, evil plans are made with Akari. After Banar delivers a report requesting a budget increase for spying, Hanako meets Hidehito, and makes plans to attend a party in Asuka.
After fraternizing with Jun, Hanako attends the party, bringing her shamisen and playing music for Akari and Gouki to sing. Learning more about Hidehito, Hanako hears of his love for Shinobu in his youth, and recounts the story of her own rise to power. Downstairs, a hot spring visit to close out the night results in Isamu leaving with Hidé, and Hanako being left with a drunken Masaru. After an embarrassing moment with Shinobu, Hanako heads home, comforting Isamu after she finds out he was rejected by Hidé.
The next day, Hanako meets with Tsuji Yasushi, Shinobu's servant. After cultivating his interest and learning more about him and his relationship with his master, Hanako heads home. Shinobu invites herself over for a friendly evening chat.
