Hanako 14: "Fen Lin"

General Summary

After Hanako discusses finances with Hanzo and continues to bring Hidé and Kazuyuki together, she attends court the next day only to find out that Tadashi Nishikawa has been allegedly assassinated by Aiwin Thedan. Another surprise comes in the form of Fen Lin, Hanako's old master, who petitions Emperor Kazuyuki for help in the defense of his Senkensha monasteries. Sparring with Hanako and Hidé, the group ponders self-mastery, and Hidé wonders if the Senkensha's seer abilities could be used to help locate her father Ohta. Visiting Shinobu, Hanako helps discipline her servant, Tsuji Yasushi. Returning home, Hanako is forced to confront what she wants from Isamu.
