Velrihm

Velrihm is a dwarven empire in the northern Shou Peninsula. Its most recent Emperor was the White Jade Emperor Hai Yuan, who had lived many hundreds of years.

Diplomacy

Velrihm trades heavily with the Shou Empire, a relationship credited to their close relationship with the Akimoto Dynasty. The Shou sell fruit, ginger, pottery, rice, noodles, and tea to the Velrini, while precious minerals and ores make their way to Shou markets, which are of particular importance for weapons manufacturing.

History

Velrihm is an ancient civilization dating back to the time after the Doom of Metis. It once held dominion over much of the northern Shou Peninsula. However, as the Shou Empire expanded, Velrini dwarves largely moved underground and into terrain less favorable to humans.
While no longer expansive enough to be considered an empire, Velrihm's title is respected by the nearby Shou Empire for diplomatic reasons.
