Borough of Lust
Borough of Lust is a bustling cityscape of scientific arcane progress. It is both the home of hyper progressive research, abomination, and fashion. Though the red tape is strong, there is a sense of freedom here when it comes to ethical limitation. Young minds come here for forbidden knowledge, only to be driven mad and join the collective torment of the graduates. Few make it out but do so at great reward. Those who control the Arcane district subscribe to the Lust lineage.
Anima Track Station: One of the most pivotal inventions within the city of Dis is the Anima Track. Reserving the convenience of teleportation to the rich, and powerful, a network of lines powered by soul magic carries massive vehicles across the city. This technology has proven extremely unreliable and unethical in its methods and thusly is a unique feature of the city.
The Living Tower: This tower is a massive hotel made entirely of living flesh and blood. It is the home of Tor'jigael, as well as an embassy for the Libidine herself.
Academy/University: This massive university is the best that hell can offer in terms of effective education. It is also a prime victim hunting ground for those seeking lambs for experimentation. Students often go missing, but those who make it out alive have a decent chance of making it in the high end life of Dis.
Silksheet Alley: a winding backroad running through the whole city sector that hosts the most talented and imaginatively curated sex workers in the cosmos. Most other Districts (and even unclaimed corners of Dis) have a back-alley or two that can be used to enter (or exit) Silksheet Alley, and it's one of Tor's greatest personal ambitions to make this sexual paradise accessible and alluring to everyone. And of course, it's a fantastic place for securing blackmail, for those who station watchful eyes in the glimmering subdistrict.
The Cognitionis Carnes: The districts enormous library. This is where all the records are kept, studies are made, weapons and other innovations are prototyped and perfected, and aspiring talents are taught and trained.
The Obscene Exhibition: an event center/grand mall/auditorium built around a tall center stage (with lesser stages surrounding, both at ground level and on different floors.) This is where the fruits of the District's labor are displayed to the people of Dis for the first time, and the place from which Tor'jigael holds his public court. Others can apply to use the Exhibition for their displays, of course, and sometimes he offers it as a favor rather than asking payment.
