Dirindi

The Dirnindi are a humanoid species that evolved on a moon orbiting the gas giant of Liavara, resulting in their lanky, muscular builds. Their skin is thick and tough, able to withstand the harsh climate of their home world, which is often hot and dry. In addition they have 3 eyes and a hardy resistance to electricity.   The Dirnindi are a mischievous and fun loving species species, valuing personal humor and whimsy above all else. Their work ethic is often down quickly and well to optimize leisure.   Despite their reputation for being lazy pranksters, the Dirnindi are also known for their bravery and good nature, which lands them in dangerous jobs operating Gas Giant facilities. They have a deep respect for all forms of life, and view their place in the universe as part of a larger, interconnected whole.   The Dirnindi recognize the value of family. They will often have many children and live in polyamorous groupings of at least 3 partners. Their intense emotions form a significant bond that grows with the group. They often stick together for life. Any suffered loss hits hard but they honor those who die with great respect.   Due to their harsh environment, the Dirnindi have a strong tradition of communal-dependancy, and are skilled at building and repairing tools and weapons. They also have a deep respect for the natural resources of their planet, and strive to live in harmony with the land around them.
