Laastpass

Glanzund Lighthouse warns those about to enter this body of water from the south. Many ships that enter are never seen again. A persistent fog looms here due to the cliffs on Laast Eisland and the mainland. Some say ghost ships prowl the waters and sink those that travel here. Merchant ships go out to the Arden Sea and cut north from Margraten as opposed to going through these treacherous waters. The legends of ghost may or may not be true and some suspect the smugglers spread these rumors so they can use the waters to get to Verloren Cove where they can remain out of the prying eyes and cannons of the Frisian navy.

Geography

The great and thick fog here make traversing the waterways with large ships difficult. At any moment, a jut of rock can barely be seen before it is too late. Some areas the water here is narrow and only the light of the Glanzund Lighthouse can steer boats coming from the north through here.
