Valkenburg
The people of Valkenburg founded the town in response to their previous home, the City of Valken on Syren Eisland being destroyed in an encounter with one of the Elan Lords in 1223 AC. It is much smaller than its original construction on the island, but it is still a valuable source of trade and serves at the capitol settlement of the Nordtip region in Frisia. Much of the iron trade from the Kriegshugels end up here to be refined and sent to other regions in Frisia and abroad. Nearby and owned by the Schoonhoven family who also governs Valkenburg sits the Schoonhoven Shipyards which are the largest shipbuilders in Frisia. The town's location at the north end of the Margraten Kanaal also ensures it has a place in the trade flow of The Merchant League.
